Samson Siasia's U-10 Boys Win State Championship

Coach Siasia, 1994 World Cup Player, Focuses On Player Development

ALPHARETTA, GA — May 11, 2002 — Samson Siasia, Atlanta's most experienced professional player-coach, announces that his Under-10 age group boy's won the Chevy Cup, the State Championship Tournament. His first team, Stars Orange "A," won in the "B" division, winning four consecutive games to take the title. The final was a close match against the Coweta Cannons with a final score of 3-2.

"Winning is great, but playing well is the goal," said the champion's head coach, Samson Siasia. Samson played for the fifth ranked team in the World, Nigeria's Super Eagles in the 1994 World Cup held in the United States. Mr. Siasia focuses on player development, instructing these Atlanta area youths to acheive exceptional performance in their first full year of select soccer. The boys played youth recreational (Rec) soccer for several different local clubs. Parents or players are encouraged to call Mr. Siasia about competing for a position on one of his youth teams.
