Coach Samson Siasia's Team, Promoted To Classic 1,
Georgia's Highest Competitive Level For U11 Boys

Metro Atlanta's Most Experienced Player-Coach Continues Great Coaching Record

ALPHARETTA, GA – June, 2003 – Samson Siasia, Atlanta's most experienced player-coach, announces the promotion to Classic I, the highest level of competition in the state, for his Under-12 (U12) boys team, Stars S.C. Orange "A," - one of Georgia’s fastest rising youth teams.  The team was a finalist, versus the Cobb Chiefs (Cobb F.C.), in the state finals. These tournament wins, league record, and promotions make the team one of the fastest rising teams in metropolitan Atlanta.

"Playing Classic I and becoming finalists in the State Championship are great acheivements that reflect a coaching focus on individual player development that enables excellent, inventive team play," says head coach, Samson Siasia.  Samson played for the fifth ranked team in the World, Nigeria’s Super Eagles during the 1994 World Cup held in the United States.  "My hope is that these young players develop and choose to play at the highest national and international levels."

Interested players or parents are encouraged to visit Mr. Siasia’s Web site at http://www.SiaOne.com or call to attend a practice with one of his teams.

Samson succeeded in developing excellent sides from recently formed teams, such as these U11 boys, who – at Under-10 - won the state championships in the “B” division within nine months of being formed from recreational players.  The boys were also finalists at TYSA, Champions at Concorde, and earned Classic I ranking for the fall of 2003 - the highest level of state competition.  Mr. Siasia currently coaches teams at U11, U14, and U16, which will be U12, U15, and U17 in the fall of 2003.
